"The Cardigan area provides a wealth of fine local produce"

Places to Eat in St Dogmaels, Poppit Sands Beach and Cardigan.

There is nothing better than locally sourced food and we pride ourselves on the quality of the local produce available from our award winning weekly village food market. Whether you fancy a fish and chip supper from paper on the beach, or a slap-up celebration dinner there are lots of options in the local area.

There are two pubs and one cafe in St Dogmaels itself, plus a fish and chip shop and we are only a 20 minute walk from Cardigan.

Listed below are the places we recommend to eat locally:

Excellent bakers that use the flour from the mill in St Dogmaels to ake fantastic bread which they bake on site. Our favourites are the Cheesey beer bread, multi seeded, spelt and honey. Also the best welsh cakes ever. We have a lot of guests stocking up with bread from here to take home.
'Old-fashioned bakery window display of all the old favourites, made here at the shop.'
