The house is filled with our personal collection of contemporary paintings, ceramics and prints. Many of these are on display in the communal areas of the house and in each of the three B&B rooms.

Anne is a painter and illustrator. In the summer of 2019 we will be opening a new gallery in Cardigan which will give you an opportunity to see Anne's paintings and prints. as well as work by contemporary welsh artists.

Oriel Milgi Private Collection

Our collection of paintings and ceramics is on display throughout our home. In all the communal areas of the house and within the 3 guest bedrooms. We have paintings and prints by a diverse range of welsh and International artists, from Rauschenburg and Beuys to Neil Howells, Sue Williams and Frank Horvat.

Bythol / Timeless prints

This is the first part of a series created by Anne drawing directly into the computer and then printed out in a series of limited edition prints. Each piece of work has an associated written piece taken from historical documents about the area, including extracts from a 15th Century letter to the Monks in St Dogmaels abbey and 19th century newspaper reports about fights between rival local fishermen.

Regularly changing exhibition space in thecentre of Cardigan. Open Monday to Saturday.



Look out for the Giant knitted cardigan, knitted by the people of Cardigan. It moves around on display to various locations in the town.



Local Artists

The area is a vibrant one for artists and makers. We have a number of local artists work in the B&B, and you can visit many galleries and artisits studios in the village and Cardigan area.


Pete Bodenham

is a potter and visual artist. He trained in Ceramics and 3D in the mid 1980s at Camberwell School of Art. In the mid 1990s he completed an MA in Fine Art at UWIC, Cardiff. Peter lives and runs a studio in Cardigan, West Wales and works at Bath Spa University as a Senior Lecturer within the Ceramics department. 



Pauline Latham
Paintings, mixed media and jewellery.



Deborah Darling Workshops
Mixed media artist, with thirty years of experience and former artist in residence with the museum of childhood. Workshops inclue, automata making, puppet making and print making,



Wendy Evans
Wendy Evans trained at Newport College of Art. She has an Honours Degree in Graphic Design and an Art Teacher's Certificate from the University of Sussex. As an art educator for twenty years, 



Maggie Cross Workshops
Maggie trained at the School of Jewellery in Birmingham. With her, you can have fun making something special with a personal touch. Carve a unique, one of a kind ring using jewellers wax and a selection of tools. Your bespoke wax ring will then be sent to a casting company in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter who will cast the wax into solid silver using the process of lost wax casting. Maggie will then hand finish the silver rings in her workshop in West Wales and post them back to you.

Zoe Gladwin

Gladwin Photography and Illustrations, offers personal photo sessions for those wishing to capture a series of special photos of their beloved pet on the beach at Poppit Sands, in the Abbey grounds, along the River Teifi or a local location of your choice. You can also mail Zoe a photo of your dog and she will create a painting or drawing for you to collect on your arrival.
